Nervevævet påvirkes gennem aktive bevægelser, påklædning, under forflytning og hvilestilling. Neurodynamik er betegnelsen for undersøgelse og behandling af dit nervesystems evne til at tilpasse sig kroppens bevægelser og stillinger. Formålet er at mobilisere nervevævet samt bevare nervens eftergivelighed, forbedre din blodcirkulation og normalisere spændingstilstanden.

Dit nervevæv påvirkes ved, at den manuelle fysioterapeut bevæger nervevævet, eller instruerer dig i øvelser, hvor nervevævet bliver bevæges – deraf betegnelsen neurodynamik.
